In 2003, the state of Chiapas, Mexico was officially
recognized by the International Coffee Association as a
coffee region. Nestled along the Mexican/Guatemalan
borders, their coffees share similar characteristics.
Canopied in lush rainforest and enriched by the regions
volcanic soil, Chiapas’ coffee are renowned for their
chocolate and almond flavor, floral and fruity aroma, and
appreciable body.
This bag comes from the Kulatik cooperative, which is
comprised of 150 farms. Each farm is USDA certified
organic.
This is a very versatile coffee that excels in any form. As a
blended drink, a drip, cold brew or an espresso.
